* The more research I do on this item. The more valuable it appears to be. As far as I can tell this may be the only sealed box of 2015 (P) ASC in existence?*
*PCGS stopped grading with the Philadelphia 79,640 designation. Think about that.
(Waiting to hear back from other grading services)
If you have a Philadelphia 2015 (P) graded before March 2017 you may want to ask for verification from your grader how they determined where it was minted.

Clarifying what ASE coins were minted where from 2014 – 2017
2015 US Bullion minted in Philadelphia had various 5 digits numbers starting with a “1” the serial number on this sealed Monster Box is 15986. With no West Point mint identifiers except for the shipping straps. (All 2015 ASE Monster Boxes had the West Point Mint Strapping.)

**Below I answered a question from a fellow eBayer.
They ask what makes this item worth so much and stated it is Super price Gouging. **
Hello and thank you for your questions.
If you have time to research the 2015 (P) American Silver Eagle. It is a fascinating story.
May I suggest the CoinWeek Notes article dated October 14 2024. Written by Charles Morgan and Hubert Walker.
As a result of the FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) requested by CoinWeek and NGC. In March 2017 the Department of Treasury U.S. Mint responded with a letter breaking down the minted numbers by each mint and how to identify.
Being the 10th anniversary, one would think most of the other boxes were graded before March 2017 and the ones that weren’t were sold for bullion.
As far as I know this is the only remaining verifiable Monster box of the 159 minted in Philadelphia in 2015.
Super price Gouging or Deal of the century?
If you are looking to stack there are plenty of monster boxes listed for under $20k.
If you are looking for a one of a kind treasure, IMO this is a bargain at $275k.
great service
